The Legend of Korra

    The Legend of Korra is overed now,now we want make a summary about it.It is a famous animated American television series that was set in Avatar Universe and aired on Nickelodeon television network as a sequel series to avatar from 14^th April to 19^th December 2014. This series, initially was conceived as a miniseries comprising on 12 episodes but later it was prolonged and ran for all in 52 episodes during the mentioned time period. It was produced by Michael Dante DiMartino and Bryan Konietzko as a sequel to Avatar: The Last Airbender.

   The Legend of Korra, the Avatar after Aang, is a 17-years-old rebellious and hot-headed young woman from the Southern Water Tribe. With water, fire and earth under her belt, Korra must grip the art of airbending.Korra'spursuit directs her to Republic City, a virtual tender pot where nonbendersand benders live together. But she finds out soon that the land is inundated by crime and increasing antibendingriot that creeps upthe city to tear apart. The series follows Korra as she experiences various responsibilities, duties and challenges that arise with being the avatar but she is ready to take on the world. She is a very talented bender, keen to learn.

   The series mainly revolves around Korra and her friends, occasionally names as “Team Avatar: the non-bender Asami and the bending brothers Mako and Bolin. The older brother Mako is a fire bender described as "dark and brooding"who grew up on the streets of Republic City with his younger brother Bolin. Lean, tall and handsome, he was a talented member in pro-bending and before becoming a police officer, he was the former captain of the Fire Ferrets.

   His younger brother Bolin is an earthbender described as humorous, lighthearted, and "always [having] a lady by his arm"who together with his brother Mako, becomes friends with Korra. He has anunfathomable bond with his brother and holds a fire delve named Pabu. Bolin is optimistic and enthusiastic and, as a pro-bender, relishes all the attention he obtains from his female fans. His alluringtechniques land him a gig as an actor.

   Asami Sato, is the daughter of the rich industrialist Hiroshi Sato and she is the only non-bender amongst the leading roles.Tenzin is the youngest son of Kataraand Aang and of course is an airbending master.  Tenzin lives on Air Temple Island with Pema, his wife, along with his four children, Meelo, Ikki, Jinora, and Rohan.

   The leading characters are voiced by Seychelle Gabriel, Janet Varney, David Faustino, J. K. Simmons, P. J. Byrne, and Mindy Sterling, and supporting voice actors contain Steven Blum, Aubrey Plaza, Eva Marie Saint, Anne Heche, Henry Rollins, and Zelda Williams. Numerous people indulged in the creation of Avatar: The Last Airbender, containing composers Benjamin Wynn and Jeremy Zuckerman and designer Joaquim Dos Santos, returned to work on The Legend of Korra.The animation is mainly provided by Studio Mir of Korea.

    Review and Rating: The series has 8.7 rating by the users and critics which is pretty much good. However it is much more mature than it’s prequel, thus it is loved by viewers.

    The characters of Avatar,  The Last Airbender received both praise and criticism from reviewers.

    The story and character develop are well above average for a children's show. There are many "teaching" moments in each episode. The adults characters are respected and there are consequences for negative behaviors by the younger characters. Overall the brightest spot in the Nick line up.

    Excellent show that depicts children that act like real children who argue, make mistakes, and sometimes need turn to wise adults for guidance and advice. Deep epic themes and plots that an adult can appreciate but a child can also enjoy.

Interview with Ri ,a Graceful lady ！

So , introduce yourself shortly and say hi to everybody :D

   Hey! My name is Ri! And I'm a cosplayer/blogger from Canada.

 1. How did you know about and get into Cosplaying?

     When I was about 14, I used to read Zone-00 and I saw someone cosplay Benio/Kisshou, and I just thought they were absolutely beautiful and perfect for the character. Shortly after, I used to find and save photos of cosplayers on my phone and think they were the real characters ୧(﹒︠ᴗ﹒︡)୨. I thought it was amazing how someone could look so perfect!! I never thought about doing it myself though! Then around the end of highschool, my boyfriend started to order some wigs to cosplay homestuck (lol everyone starts somewhere;;;). I thought that it could be fun to try, so I borrowed some of his wigs and took some photos for instagram. Heheh I would never think that people would like my photos but I ended up getting a lot of followers for those! Although, it's pretty embarrassing looking back to them (/v\ )

2. What makes you want to cosplay?

   Cosplaying for me, started off as a fun hobby, but now I like cosplaying because it really helps me feel more confident about myself. Before all of this, I wouldn't ever take photos of myself, and I was scared to upload/share photos.

3.Can you share your first cosplay experience and what character did you portray?   How long have you been cosplaying?

    Hmmm.. I think my first cosplay experience was Rose from Homestuck? I don't really like looking back on those times because it wasn't a good time, but the results ended up ok ＼（＠v＠）／ I might have a few old photos floating around...

I started cosplaying about one year ago! 

My first "full cosplay"/photoshoot was Vanille from Final Fantasy! We recently redid that photoshoot to save your eyes from the first attempt lol

4. Can you tell us your favourite characters about the Anime?

     My favourite characters from any anime? ;o; Honestly, I've only started watching animes recently, so my absolute favourite characters would be Freckles/Doll from Kuroshitsuji (manga), and Benio/Kisshou from Zone-00 (manga).  Those two are my favourites because when I was little I really looked up to them the most!! My first tattoo was even a tribute to Freckles uwu

5. I know that you're famous for the cosplay the Frozen, which one do you prefer,    Elsa or Anna?

    Oh my gosh !! Not famous!（´▽｀★） You're so kind!! hahaha. I prefer Elsa over Anna though!! I feel like I can connect to Elsa more so, and my younger sister is perfect for Anna, so we both kinda relate to them!♥♥ 

6. Have you had the experience of a cosplay gone bad, or encountered some problems while cosplaying? What are those?

     I know there are a tonne of hate pages and blogs, and I see myself being mentioned/hated on quite a bit. Usually they say my photos are too bright, my makeup is the same, things like that. But at the same time, the don't really bother me much, because it almost makes me happy to know that people think i'm popular enough to even be on those pages! hahah. Also, a problem for me, is that we don't have any conventions where I live! I mean, there is one, but it's not very good... :( I would love to be able to attend a better convention and meet people!!! Everyone looks like they're having so much fun! ;v; But I can't afford to travel to one... haha someone invite me lol

7. Which aspect of cosplay do you prefer: making garments, creating accessories,    crafting props, makeup/prosthetics, etc?

    I would have to say the makeup part!! I'm not very good at making things... :( I would love to try because I do enjoy that sort of stuff, but i'm always too busy so it's easier for me just to buy the costumes! I do enjoy doing makeup and styling the wigs though!! 

8. For your Elsa cosplay, what preparations have you done?

    When I found out that a certain company would give me the Elsa dress I was so excited!! I bought a wig for it that day, and I actually did some makeup tests. But once that wig came, I had to get another one because it just wasn't right.. Then as soon as the new one came, the next morning we had the photoshoot! I'm not very prepared for things, it's usually just "hey wanna take photos" and then we go do it!! So the morning of the photoshoot, I styled the wig with my sisters help, and got ready!! ;v; It was pretty hard to style. I remember texting photos to my friends asking for their advice hahaa

9. What future cosplays are you planning?

    OOOO. I have SOOO many future cosplays! I usually only cosplay characters that I super like or that mean a lot ! But there are just so many!! (/v\ ) I have a really long list, but the main ones right now are ; Robin from Fire Emblem Awakening, Zelda from Legend of Zelda- Twilight Princess, Rapunzel from Tangeled, and so many more!! 

10. What's your dream cosplay?

    Hands down, Benio from Zone - 00. I just really love their overall appearance and I love Beni so much <3 My last dream cosplay was Asuka from Neon Genesis Evangelion, but I finally cosplayed her! I can't wait to redo the plugsuit photoshoot!

11. Would you consider yourself as an Amateur or a Pro-Cosplayer?

      Probably still an amateur cosplayer!! 

12.Aside from cosplaying, what other things keep you busy in life?

    Cosplaying has become a huuuuuge part of my life!! But besides that, work and sleep hahaha. Also maintaining social media and Ethan and my online stores! Annnnnd our pets keep me pretty busy as well!! ;v; In my spare time, I usually play video games though! 

13. What advice can you share to your fellow cosplayers and cosplay virgins?

      Don't give up and keep trying!! ୧( ॑ധ ॑)୨ You can do it! Don't let anyone tell you who you can and cannot cosplay! Cosplaying is for fun and you CAN cosplay whoever you want to no matter gender/race/etc !!!!! 

14. What's your favourite cons from now on?

     Cons as in conventions? ;; I cannot answer this because I haven't attended any! :(

15. How do you prepare for the Halloween night this year?

     OHHH I LOVE HALLOWEEN! I can't wait! I wanna be spooky!! Usually, Ethan, my sister and I do something fun for Halloween! maybe we'll go trick or treating still? B) never too old to go out on halloween!
