The life of Anakin Skywalker before he became the dark side leader, Darth Vader, is a long and complex one. From a young padawan to a Sith lord, there’s years of stories that have been explored across a multitude of mediums. One such medium is the animated series, The Clone Wars. This show takes place between the events of episodes two and three of the Star Wars films. This is a much more colorful suit than his later one and is a multilayered piece made from high-quality materials. A pair of maroon cotton pants and a matching long top comprise the base layer to this ensemble. It is secured by a zipper in the back of the top. Sitting on top of this is an equally long navy vest. It is cinched at the waist by a brown pleather belt that features two pockets on either side for additional storage. A long pair of black pleather gloves gives this costume an edgier appearance and foreshadows the characters turn down a villainous path. A long cape flows freely off the back and is secured in place by Velcro in the front. A grey pleather chest plate covers the torso and is accompanied by a set of shoulder pads. The character’s red Jedi emblem is largely plastered on the left shoulder of this warrior’s wardrobe. A pair of high boots strap around the legs and are an optional addition to this intergalactic ensemble!
